PVC has partnered with NetTutor, an online virtual tutoring service, in order to provide PVC students with free, online tutoring. NetTutor has been in existence for over 20 years and offers students the options of live tutoring, question drop-off or writing feedback. NetTutor tutors are subject-matter experts with advanced degrees (at least a Bachelor’s degree) and with at least one year teaching or tutoring experience. Over 150 subjects are offered! How to access NetTutor: (easy peasy!)
1) Log in to your Bridge/Canvas account.
2) Select a course.
3) A sidebar will appear to the immediate left. Look near the bottom of the sidebar for NetTutor and click on it (see image below).
4) Choose a subject you need help with.
5) Select one of the available options to meet with a live tutor, ask a question or drop off a paper.
6) That’s all there is to it!
