American History: Citations

Citation page

How do I cite these subscription resources?

All of the subscription resources (subscription resources mean that we pay for them so students have access to reputable, published research in contrast sometimes to the open web) will have a link to a citation for the article when you have the article in front of you.  You still need to double-check the citation for any errors, and you may need to double-space or indent.

For articles from EBSCO, the citation "button" looks like a yellow piece of paper.   See below.  Each subscription resource will offer a citation for you to use that corresponds with your chosen article.  Always check with your instructor to make sure you are following the format he or she wants and if it's ok to use the citation buttons.
