What can be loaded on e-readers for incarcerated students? The "Golden Four" and any course listed on the ADT's for Psychology, Sociology and Communications. This is true for both OER and non-OER texts, provided there is a downloadable link associated with the text. However, OER lends itself to both incarcerated and non-incarcerated students by not only supplying CDCR with a link to the OER text for the incarcerated students to place on e-readers (in the following areas and courses) but also non-incarcerated students have access to the digital link of the text on their very first day of class. Also, OER lends itself to low-cost print versions of OER texts that are available to both incarcerated and non-incarcerated students.
