Description:
The Building Technology program provides students with a basic background in the management of construction projects. Students will find employment in the broad spectrum of opportunities available in the construction industry. The program also provides continuing education for those already employed as contractors, site superintendents, project managers, estimators, and other areas related to construction.
Career Info:
This degree path prepares you for an entry-level job or allows those who are currently employed to upgrade their job skills. The Certificate of Achievement Building Construction Technology is embedded within the degree and offers practical and hands-on experience in carpentry, plumbing, blueprint reading, electricity, framing techniques, and cabinetry. Possible future careers include entry-level carpenter, plumber, electrician, and more. Here's some future career possibilities from the CA Career Zone.
