CURRENT AND INCOMING STUDENTS - PASSWORD HELP
Hello!
Thank you for being part of the Palo Verde College community. Palo Verde College is updating how it communicates with students by email to modernize and improve data security. Currently, a PVC email address is associated with your PVC account. Moving forward, all students are encouraged to use the official PVC email address associated with their account for school communications and to use an alternative personal email address as a backup.
Your PVC email address associated with your account will become the primary mode of communication as of Fall, 2023 and is required to access PVC online support services (such as CANVAS, Student Planning, etc.). You’ll continue to receive emails to your personal email until the switch is made. A Go Live date is tentatively set for August 1, 2023. It is your responsibility to monitor your PVC email account after that date.
STEP 1 – MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR CREDENTIALS READY
1a) You'll need your PVC student ID number:

STEP 2 – CREATE YOUR PERMANENT PASSWORD
2a) Go to THIS LINK (Microsoft Office)
2b) Enter your PVC student email address
2c) Select the hyperlink labeled "Can't access your account?"
2d) Follow the onscreen instructions to reset your password. Your new password should be between 14 to 21 characters long and does not require numbers or special characters.
STEP 3 – MAKE SURE TO USE AND MONITOR YOUR PVC EMAIL ADDRESS
3a) All college communications moving forward will be sent to your PVC email address, and not to an alternate address. It is your responsibility to monitor your PVC email account.
