Associate of Arts in Communication Studies (AA-T)

Description:
The Associate of Arts in Communication Studies for Transfer provides students with course options in communications, and social sciences as part of their lower-division preparation for a major in Communications at a four-year institution. Students will acquire the essential foundation and skills necessary to pursue advanced degrees in Communication and to pursue a variety of careers requiring strong skills in communication and verbal expression.

Students are introduced to many aspects of communication including public speaking, interpersonal, intercultural, group and mass communication, as well as persuasion, argumentation and debate.
